Harvest Food Trail

One of the highlights of this year’s festival will include the inaugural Harvest Food Trail. Part of enjoying the food, is knowing the story….understanding where your food was grown, the sustainable methods used to grow or produce the food, the farmer who grew and brought the food to market or the local baker who lovingly baked the bread.  We all love the back-story!….As part of our Harvest Food Festival, NRF offers for the first time, our Harvest Food Trails – a self drive foodie experience where you can jump in your car and leisurely enjoy the  whole farm to plate experience.

Behind the Scenes

Harvest Food Festival is operated by Northern Rivers Food. Northern Rivers Food is a not for profit, industry body run by the people who are putting their heart and soul into marketing and developing food businesses from Grafton to Tweed. All proceeds of the festival are fed back into NRF to be used to help promote and market the food industry of the Region. Harvest Food Festival is the key fundraiser of Northern Rivers Food each year.

NRF have a whole team of volunteers behind the scenes who take time out of their own business to bring the Harvest Food Festival and Harvest Food Trail to life each year.  We are also lucky to have the experience of Jodie Tatchell our Harvest Event Coordinator who brings the whole program together.  For more information on the Harvest Food Festival please call 0422 195 033 or email harvest@northernriversfood.org.au
